Velocity_BWD mm/sec Speed of point traveling along the worm’s track in backward movement
Centroid Velocity_FWD mm/sec Change in centroid position over time in forward movement

Frequency_FWD Hz Oscillations per second for each articulation point. This is a set of 11 parameters. This parameter measures the frequency of body bending in forward movement

Flex_FWD rad Maximum angle difference between ventral and dorsal bend for each articulation point. This parameter measures the extent of body bending in forward movement. This is a set of 11 parameters

Time Delay_FWD sec The time required for one point to reach the same angle as its adjacent anterior neighbor. This parameter measures the speed of wave propagation along the body in forward movement. This is a set of 10 parameters

Amplitude_FWD mm Width of the best-fit bounding box aligned along the worm in forward movement
